7月25日，英特尔发布第二季度财报，数据显示，营收128.6亿美元，同比增长0.2%，预估为118.8亿美元，净利润亏损29.2亿美元，上年同期亏损16.1亿美元。
面对经营压力，英特尔宣布了裁员计划，决定削减约15%的员工。
