5月6日，国际原油期货继续下行，WTI原油期货价格跌10.25%，报91.790美元/桶；布伦特原油期货价格跌8.96%，报100.027美元/桶。消息上，伊朗外交部发言人6日表示，伊朗正在“评估”美方提出的包括14个条款的停战谅解备忘录。
