Gerald has been associated with Morningside since 1986. Prior to his fifteen years career in technology, venture capital and direct investment, both in the US and in China, he was a research fellow in pathology at the Harvard Medical School. He received his undergraduate training in engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles and his Doctor of Science degree in Radiation Biology from Harvard University.
Since 1986, he has been a board member of Hang Lung Development Company Limited of Hong Kong. He also serves on the board of a number of companies including Natural Polymer International Corporation. His many non-profit activities include serving on the Visiting Committee of the Harvard School of Public Health and on the Cancer Center of the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
