4月4日，沙尘暴侵袭甘肃省会兰州，整个城区瞬时笼罩在一片漫天黄沙中。滚滚黄河水与漫天黄沙“浑然一体”，若隐若现。据甘肃省气象部门统计，截至目前，武威、兰州出现沙尘暴，最低能见度为兰州700米。根据历史气象数据统计，兰州最近一次沙尘暴天气出现在2010年3月19日。
