【美联邦法院裁定特朗普就作家卡罗尔诽谤案支付500万美元赔偿金】财联社12月30日电，美国联邦第二巡回上诉法院当地时间12月30日裁定，美国当选总统特朗普对作家卡罗尔实施性侵后对其进行诽谤，特朗普需承担责任并支付500万美元赔偿金。报道称，陪审团并未认定特朗普犯有强奸罪，但他们判决作家卡罗尔因被性侵获赔202万美元，因被诽谤获赔298万美元。
