【美海军第五舰队驻巴林总部缩减人员规模】财联社2月27日电，据美国官员当地时间26日透露，美国海军第五舰队驻巴林总部已缩减至“关键任务”人员编制。据称，此举是为应对伊朗可能发动的袭击。巴林是美国海军第五舰队总部所在地，驻有约9000名美军事人员，主要负责为美军舰艇、军机、分遣队等提供安全保障，任务辖区覆盖海湾、红海、阿拉伯海及印度洋部分海域。
